Price reduced Wright & Sons Family Fourteen Wooden ClinkerBuilt Dinghy

Full Description

We are selling our Family Fourteen original Wright & Sons wooden clinker-built dinghy 'Sona'. Sitting at Bala Sailing Club, North Wales LL23 7BS, where she has sat and been sailed for many years. We have 2 dinghies at Bala and no longer have the time to sail both, so, reluctantly selling this beautiful, classic boat.
Sona is un excellent condition, has been lovingly owned and overhauled by the previous owner – a fellow Bala Sailing Club member; she has brand new red sails, made by R & J Sails, Somerset, with brass piston hanks along the luff, rather than the normal plastic clips, there is a further set of white sails included. Fitted with inflatable buoyancy bags, steel centreboard, and hand-made tiller. The cover is also brand new – from Rain & Sun Textile Protection, it is deep-sided Hydralite breathable fabric.
The dual road/launching trailer is in very good condition and the boat is easy to launch from and retrieve to the trailer.
can be viewed at Bala Sailing Club by arrangement with me, please contact me if you need any further information.
